Please upload photos of your clock patch installation, both the patch itself and the SDMA area too :)

From the tests I can run on the test cartridge I haven't seen anything specially wrong. Only VGA tests doesn't work well once finished the first one.
Once in Desktop, SDMATEST makes noise when pressing play.
Which tests can I run to see if it works all OK? The demos I tried, worked OK. Gembench 6 in loop mode, also OK.

I use BadMood as the ultimate Falcon stability test (The doom port for Falcon, uses DSP)

Also the soldering does look a bit rough, did you use flux? I would de-solder the patch wires, clean the area with IPA and re-do personally. Your SDMA trace patch looks good though! :)

Wires rechecked and resistor installed. But the noise in SDMATEST remains the same.

I have taken the CT60e out of the Falcon, the PicoPSU too and replaced it with the original Falcon PSU....The boot screen is blue with the letters and logo in white colour (VGA output)

Okay only other thing to do is turn the delay OFF on the patch. Just de-solder the solder bridge with some wick (on the patch pcb) Then re-test.

By the way - I just noticed a resistor and cable soldered to the heatsink on top of the videl? what is that?

It is for the SuperVidel sync

Is it really soldered to the heatsink? If so, why?
