Ok, card flashed but I have some trouble bringing it up. The CD32 boots to the Early Startup Menu and the CD boot animation, but it won't boot from IDE. Diagrom shows a looping Z3 ram card config and says it can't test the ram - I don't know if there is an issue with Z3 ram with diagrom or if I messed something up?

OK, never mind, got it to boot. It all has to do with IDE issues. Testing ram now.

OK so the problem was my startup-sequence was automatically loading a patched A600 scsi.device which works on TF328 but not on this one, so it would lock up. Also I can only get bodawei CF cards to work for the moment. But the ram seems fine, no issues, at least according to memcheck. I am going to try systest now.

Ok... Binaries all require the patch or at least that the EXP_BR pin be tied high (jumper the outer jumper if in doubt).
I've just emailed all the beta testers with the fix from the livestream.
Explanation.
Even though the bus arb signals were being set correctly the CPLD was still driving AS20, DS20 and RW20 (Motherboard signals) high. This meant a tug of war took place between the CPLD and the Motherboard. I've updated the code to put the CPLD into high impedance mode when BGACK is asserted. Solved the last of the CD Drive issues.

Something weird is going on with my board. The new firmware works... every once in a while, other times I get ram reported as defective at bootup...
