Well my cheeky offer timed out, so I suspect it wasn't what was wanted...

Since it's payday I have now bought the keys that were on eBay, so I will have proper keys for the machine, even if I'll still need to figure out a way of lettering them.

Next I need to sort the joystick topper :)

Incidentally I think it's cool that the joystick can move the cursor around in BASIC for the purposes of editing, very well thought out.

The only real problem with the built in joystick is that when you have the handle installed it gets in the way of typing slightly. Probably why it’s missing most of the time

I can well imagine it would be, the little stub is about right for editing in BASIC but probably too short for games.

Yay !

I guess you'll find out how to letter the keycaps.

I'm sure I will and I need to do at least one function key too.

Good news, the replacement keys are on the way from Egypt :)

Bad news is that the bloody delivery date changed from 3rd September to the 4th and now to the 7th of September!!!

I'll be in France so I might have to contact FedEx for a delay if they don't arrive before I go, or tell them to drop them over the back gate!!!

I don't really care if the package gets wet, the keys will survive a bit of water, but I don't want them going missing.

Harumph.

Hope that it won't change again...

Interesting.

Although the date still shows 7th September on the Fedex site, it is saying its an estimate and the package is showing as in France now.

Perhaps I'll get lucky and they'll come before I go away.

What PSU were you intending to use with your Enterprise eventually? My original enterprise PSU has long since been lost. I think I was using a ZX81 PSU but again I think that too is lost.

I came across a UK guy selling a reasonably priced RGB SCART cable.

I had intended to add an RGBTOHDMI to mine. Someone previously said you need the analog version but there is pinout for wiring digital direct from the Nick chip (I think there is 1-wire needed from another chip)
