I took my car to the garage today for what I thought was a grumbling bearing in the alternator, power steering or air conditioning pump. They just called to say it isn't any of those. They are still diagnosing but might be the clutch release bearing (if it is then I just live with it) or the clutch itself.
If it turns out to be the clutch/flywheel then I won't be able to make it this weekend. I'll keep you updated.
No news is good news? Garage failed to find the source of the rattle in my car. I decided it was too expensive for them to look to see if it is the clutch (£1000 in labour). I'm going to come anyway and make sure my breakdown cover is fully paid up.

Just to confirm I have expanded my talk. I am not just going to talk about the Blitter FPGA journey but also all our other FPGA work such as the shifter, MMU and GLUE. Am currently building the powerpoint deck now.
