Thank you for the update, and totally understandable if the TF4060 ends up being the last major project.
That said, a 68040/060 turbo for the Amiga 2000 could potentially enable many other turbo card options as well. Especially if it were designed for a 64-pin DIP socket (like the one used by the 68000 CPU), it could be installed directly in an A2000 and used via the many existing A2000 CPU slot adapters that support 64-pin DIP.
This is actually something no one else has done yet, and it might open up some unique possibilities for both new builds and retrofitting older machines.
I've just go so little time these days between support of existing cards, work and house. I don't really want to do another one. It will be ten years of TF next year

I think this card is dead. Not likely to ever make it. The TF4060 will be my last amiga card unless i respin one of the older cards etc
:( Sad news for sure but totally understandable, I imagine the time consumption is massive with very little in return considered what's put in.
Take care and focus on the important things in life.

I completely understand the lack of bandwith and how stretched one can get. I left a job I had been in for 17 years at the end of 2024 and it has been great for me to take a paycut to regain some of my "life" back.
I will say I wish this project wasn't dead. I'd love to see it get a second wind if that ever becomes a possibility. I'm in a position where I've been revamping my 2000 I've had for years. I DON'T want to put a pistorm or do FPGA to upgrade it. So the TF2040 really appealed to me since I have RTG, networking, USB and other cards in this box.
I realize this also is your design and no one else will be picking it up and taking it forward. But I wondered what challenges remained in it's design? I do see that you at least got it to boot with diagrom. I also understand the hard limits the 2000 would place due to the Z2 bus as well as the 040/060's clock being religated to 50mhz.
No matter what, thank you for all the TF accelerators you've released. My other 2000 and 1200 thank you.

Literally the only challenge is having time to look at it. I'm not leaving the retro scene but i only plan to iterate and fix boards already out there for amiga. There are plenty of people doing boards now which is great to see and what i wanted to make happen ten years ago when i started

Is there anyone actively working for something in the lines of the Terriblefire "style" of cards for 040/060? I only know of the Warp 560 that is available to fill this currently. And it comes with a lot of other things I'm not needing.

If that question was directed at me then the honest answer is i don't have time to keep up with what other people are doing. I can barely keep track of my own projects.

No, I understand you're not able to develop the 040 one. I just wondered if there was anything like the TF style that might be a project someone was working on. The Warp 560 is about the only thing I can find, but that has a lot of extras that I already have in my 2000. (RTG, USB, Networking, CF)
I just admire the path you took with focusing on the CPU, RAM, and Storage.

Warp cards are general purpose computers. I like more TF way to do things. I want to use all my old expansions with these. I have a TF520, TF536 2x and TF4060.

I can't add a reaction to your post, but :goodpost: :yay:
Glad I'm not the only one that wants to use the zorro slots and older devices! (I've been put down for that on the facebook groups....)
