The GND normally attaches to the base of the metal PSU casing. I suppose we can attach the ground to the corner screw hole of the PSU since it's got grounded surface area on the bottom, then attach the ground to the metal chassis of the TT. Any input on that from others on the forum is welcome.

@Steve have you looked if the PSU PCB screw holes even connect to anything?

Sometimes they are GND, to GND via a cap, or not connected to anything..

I'll check, but FYI this is how it is by default on the normal setup - ie; the inlet GND connection fitted to the base of the metal PSU bracket, the PSU was connected by the screw-holes which are GND-filled, then the legs of the metal PSU bracket made contact with the motherboard GND.

So by taking the inlet GND to the screw-hole (with an eyelet) then another from that same point to the chassis, achieves the same as what Atari designed, as far as I can discern.

I'll take some measurements later...

This is how I'm thinking of passing the ground through? Pretty much exactly the same way the stock base-plate did it.

Bottom right-hand-corner for the eyelit. It's connected to those large disc caps, are they X/Y? caps? would that be ok @exxos ? It's the only corner actually connected to anything.

@Steve Yeah that should be fine..

You could just use tin sheet strips, cut drill, bend. That would be pretty easy.
