This year I will be putting on a 'Defying reason' exhibit:
Demos/routines and software which seem to not be at all possible for the machines they were created on.
With this in mind, I will be bringing the appropriate HW/SW to facilitate.
However, if someone has a Commodore C128D(CR) 8568 VDC version with a real disk drive they want to bring in, I can bring in my C128 VDC software on floppy along with my research notes and attempt to reach up to a 1024x300/600i display on the VDC! ;)
(I can supply the VDC monitor and cable too if need be).

I'll bring a couple of Sinclair QLs and an ICL One Per Desk as exhibits.
I can afford to give you more table space this year. :D Let me know what table sizes and amounts and I will make sure you are catered for.
OK. I'm also thinking about a small LAN with copper phone to VoIP and a Raspberry Pi running Asterisk plus possibly a 4G router so as to be able to access on-line Viewdata services from the OPD and possibly one of the QLs.

@stephen_usher thats great!
FYI, I did look into it, but according to the handbook I was sent, there was no mention of free WIFI.
Looks like you have covered that. Hopefully the 4G network coverage in the area is pretty good.

What do people want us to bring?
Personally, my leaning is more towards the computers than the consoles, but most of this stuff sounds interesting. However...

...and most CBM addons)
...I would be interested to hear what addons you may have. :)
e.g.: Amiga TMS 34010/20 TIGA cards, Video Toaster.. if you mean 8-bit: C64 official REU (with REC chip), 80-column card. SCPU...
Any of those would definitely tickle me.
BTW, was it you who was after the Atari books?

Just a friendly request to people looking to come to the event (especially exhibitors):
It would be appreciated if tickets were purchased earlier as opposed to later.
This gives us time to work with the exhibitors requirements, calculate allocations and accommodate, just in case anyone was e.g. thinking of a last minute exhibition of their restored IBM 704 mainframe or suchlike. Without prior knowledge, this may well be a problem, as we may have already allocated (table/floor) space to other exhibitors beforehand.
I know thats probably an extreme example (although anything goes, so who knows) but I make this example to illustrate the issue. Last year, we actually had to curb further exhibitor interest for lack of room, so its quite a relevant point. :)
I have tried to counteract this by holding the event at a larger venue, but still we need to keep on top of this.
Of course, if the above is going to be a problem for any reason then thats also ok. :D On that note, we can also do cash on the door.
Please ensure that you purchase the correct ticket type too, as this will affect the above problem dramatically! (i.e. exhibitor or spectator ticket).
Also, dont forget there is a raffle with a fabulous first prize of an STE536 CPU speeder for the Atari STe computer.
Many thanks for everyones support on this. I look forwards to seeing you all there.
