@PhilC Do you think it is possible to shave away some of the top-plastic case of the 68010 in the middle, I wonder if it would hit a metal lid that I can effectively heatsink?

I don't think you'll find anything underneath to attach the heatsink to. It can be put on top of the chip as is though as you know.Steve wrote: 14 May 2022 12:36 @PhilC Do you think it is possible to shave away some of the top-plastic case of the 68010 in the middle, I wonder if it would hit a metal lid that I can effectively heatsink?
Hmm, those benchmarks are low.Steve wrote: 14 May 2022 20:17 Okay new results with @Badwolf 's new incremental-e54c003 firmware, I also realised the black boxes are caused by blitter being enabled, this is still the same even with the new firmware so I've been turning blitter off now. Not using any kind of maprom yet, EmuTOS 1.1.1:

Should be 7.7MB/s and 207% on the Integer Division or thereabouts.
Will have to check that firmware again later -- unfortuantely subsequent changes I was working on have made things worse, so will have to wind back a little way.
