I've found references online to "make sure FPU is on" in ct60cont.prg.

But I cannot find that file anywhere =/ I am guessing there is some softwaree that comes with the CT60.

For CT60e you'll need to use the files from http://jil.guru/32bit/CT60e/Tools/Legacy/ which have been edited to support the CT60e due to some changes made.

Thanks, yeah - cannot seem to find those anywhere on the net! Seems like a lot of this stuff is not very well documented.
Everything you need is here:
CPX etc:
https://github.com/mikrosk/ct60tos/tree/master/cpx
Everything else:
https://github.com/mikrosk/ct60tos

Edit: Simon osbournes link is fine too, Mikro just put all of this on github to preserve everything incase the jil.guru site went down.

Warning, don't use the link you found! that is for the older ct60, not compatible with ct60e.

ALSO: Make sure you use NVDI with a ct60e Falcon, it is required otherwise you will get lots of crashes.

Thanks guys! When you said make sure you use NVDI - do I have to use that? I am not using any kind of software accelerator atm.

Sorted that Quake issue out btw! Just went with a different version and that increased the frame rate massively. Running at 90Mhz!

Thanks to Exxos blog there I found NVDI! Interestingly I am still not using it though. But - it might explain whey Gem Bench crashes on me now at one point. Will try NVDI later to see if that sorts it!

Yes NVDI is absolutely required but I don't know why. If you don't use it the Falcon will just crash in TOS randomly. But - I don't see it as an issue, as NVDI makes the graphics much faster anyway, so everyone should use it either way.

By the way, if you want the latest and greatest firmware, this is it:
https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=35594

It includes lots of fixes & has an awesome 'press DEL' to enter bios! It allows you to set ALL settings that the CPX tool is usually needed for. Can even set clock speed etc. I don't even use the CPX anymore after getting this bios.

ps - I know it is tempting to try and run at 100mhz but I do not recommend trying. It is the upper limit of the CPU and I have seen LOTS of forum threads of users bricking their ct60e by clocking too high (and fixing eventually but after a lot of stress) I would not go over 90. I personally run at 77.

Maybe one of you guys can upload all this info & software section so it's all easier to find for others...
