That’s a worry, most (if not all) IDE devices I’ve worked with have a master/slave/cable select jumper. Hmm. If yours was able to run with other devices, you’d think it would have a jumper, unless it’s not meant to work with other devices.. hmm You say it locks up when you add a second device to the chain with this IDE SD adapter?

My cheap SD to IDE doesn't have a selector, but it runs as master, because when I set my CF adapter to slave it boots to the SD and sees the CF in workbench.
