'n' Back
Step Across is
a little Macintosh freeware program by Michael
Ahrweiler from Germany - but in English
- which allows you to convert text (ASCII) files
from some different systems like, Atari, DOS,
UNIX, Amiga and Macintosh.
For those who
use Calamus with MagiC Mac (an exellent Atari-compatible
OS) it is very easy to get ASCII files from
different platforms, because Calamus SL200X
has superb ASCII import. But the other way around
is a bit of a problem. With Step Across you
can change or correct the ASCII-format at lightspeed
and send by e-mail from your Mac, with
correct special signs, even if you have written
it in Signum, Script or Papyrus - just export
the text as ASCII and convert it with Step Across.
