exxos's Atari, Amiga & retro forum

Just a quick post to say @Steve has joined the moderator team :thumbup:

Most of you will know him already. He has been on the forum daily for years and has a good eye for spotting posts which are not what they seem, particularly the AI agent accounts which have been turning up on other forums lately. He has been feeding that sort of thing back to me for a while now, so it makes far more sense to have him in the moderator discussions directly rather than me relaying everything second hand.

Nothing changes day to day. Anything suspicious gets raised with the rest of the team first for a second opinion before anything happens, so there is no need to worry about heavy handed moderation.

@JezC I don't think you have to worry about @PhilC being a bot or not because he's pretty good at banning himself repeatedly anyway ! :lol:

*1 Replace with forum users.
*2 Replace with AI bots.

Jokes aside (or are they? :lol: ) Ive seen Steve in action against the bots. Hes going to make a great addition to the team, especially with the continuing rise of these darn things.

P.S. This message is not A.I. but for evaluation purposes, I may pretend to be an A.I. agent from time to time, to test Steves Blade Runner-esque skills. :lol: :hide:
