Command and Conquer - ST port

Just saw that Jonas just posted a new version of Command and Conquer that doesn't use the blitter. I immediately downloaded and tested on my Falcon running with the 060. The previous version ran ok on the Falcon 030....but now being able to take advantage of the 060 it's running like I remember it ran on my Pentium 100 back in the day.

I'll run more tests with real accelerated hardware like the STe with STE536, a Mega ST with ST536 and on the TT.

I posted a little snippet on FB

Update #1

Got it up and running on my 1040STe with the STE536 installed. It's playable, just barely, but I was able to finish the first mission. I'll make sure that the fastram flags were set properly and then onto testing on the TT.

More benchmarking....I'll get a nice little video up soon. Just so excited...love seeing this kind of thing!

Initial Benchmark Results:
Falcon 060 (95mhz): Ticks 12,610 / FPS 24.9
TT 030 (32mhz): Ticks 63,928 / FPS 4.9118
1040STE / STE563 (030 @ 50mhz): Ticks 39,653 / FPS 7.9187
Falcon 030 (16mhz): Ticks 73,285 / FPS 4.2846
Mega ST / ST536 (030 @ 50mhz): Ticks 47,932 / FPS 6.5509

I'd say the TT and Falcon are at the basement in terms of real playability. The STE/ST536 accelerated is "ok" playability while the Falcon 060 is perfect. Would love to see if any of you Raven folks can get it running and what it looks like for y'all.

Doesn't load on my raven. cannot set the video "Failed to set video mode" looks like this is hard coded at the moment. :(
