Croissant + Re-homing an STe motherboard

Last year I bought a lot of 5 Atari ST's from the eBay. From the photo's they were in fantastic condition and at least one of them was an STe. Turns out 3 were STe's and 2 were STF's...it was a nice find here in the US.

As is too often the case, the seller put them all in a box with limited packing material and they arrived in various states of damage.

One was completely shattered and in fragments, one had major damage but I've been able to repair to about an 80% level and the last 3 could be put back together pretty much completely. All the motherboards were fully functional, so I've had an extra STe motherboard I wasn't sure what to do with.

After seeing what BW put together for his bare Falcon motherboard he repaired, I was inspired.

This last week I picked up the Croissant from the prolific creator of the Sidecartridge. Combining that with some plexiglass, 3D printing, a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I have put together the below.

It isn't perfect, but it is useable and I think looks pretty nice.

Looks cool :)

Yeah, pretty much every ST I had in recent years arrived smashed to bits.
