I just bought these new Microdrive cartridges off Amazon.


Unfortunately they don't fit in the drive!

I've no idea what the problem might be! Can you help?

The issue is obvious: those cartridges are vegan, and your drive is a strict carnivore. Try feeding it some bacon first to loosen it up.

Dont forget on top of that that these older devices can only take capacities up to 2GB.

Just use a large hammer. For scale of hammer, please see my Avatar.

You'll need a biro to wind them back first.

The cartridges are vacuum compressed and must be soaked in water for 4-6 hours to regain their proper size and strength.
