Looking for Mega ST or Mega STE keyboard (UK or US layout)...

Honestly I think you'll struggle to find one, I have 3 Mega STs and a Mega STE and just 2 keyboards between them, for some reason people hang onto them and they go fo silly money.

You might want to look for alternatives.

If you are not picky about the layout, IIRC there used to be brand new Swedish/Norwegian MegaSTE/TT ones on eBay.

And if you are not picky about the condition of the keyboard, I have one TT keyboard and one Mega STE keyboard somewhere in my parts.

Cannot guarantee they're in working order though...

In return I could pay cash and/or buy and ship small retro goods from UK to JP for you. (I work for a Japanese company in the UK office and there are people from the office going back and forth regularly)

I guess they get separated from the base unit and then found years later?

There are adapters available for PC keyboards, I know it is not the same but they are much cheaper.

Honestly don't know, but I bought a Mega ST of a guy and he wouldn't part with the keyboard because he had other Megas and wanted to have spares. It was cheap enough for me not to argue.

Also I have a couple of Eiffels which means I can use PS/2 keyboards.

I did manage to get a German Mega KBD that was smashed to bits but functional. I repaired the case and it's OK and I was able to move some keys aroung to make it work OK for UK.

So as promised, here are (the long awaited :lol: ) pictures:

First, the Mega STE keyboard (UK layout):



And the TT one (UK layout):


Plastic hinge on the RJ12 connector is broken on both keyboards.

Some plastic hinges inside both keyboards are also broken/missing.

The stem under the 'F10' keycap is broken on the TT keyboard, and thus has to be replaced.

Both keyboards have yellowing.

I'd take the 1st one (STE)... Sent a PM...
