Im not even sure where to start with this...It seems very interesting though.
It seems someone has invented a 4D game that specifically requires an Atari 2600 and a certain type of CRT.

However, it seems that the C64 can also accommodate the Quantum particle accelerator(!) for triple interlaced 4D images:
