Anyone knows if it exist a software to facilitate the uninstallation of any software ?


It is not always easy to know what a software installed on what folder, like the Auto forer, ACC or CPX, and all ressources attached.

To uninstall anything you would have to use separate program installer, which would register what was installed and where. There was one installer like this in the past(GemSetup), but most programs/applications don't use it. Aniplayer used it for sure and some newer german apps. Not sure if it provided uninstall though (,but it could). Don't remember anything even similar to it.

what about a log software, which can recording in a txt file what is new on the hard drive C (as example)?

That would need some sort of software to patch into the OS file system code to log all file access and write it to a file. This would have to be all files opened with write access as there’s no way to determine if a file is part of any software package.

The alternative would be a program you ran before installation which audited what files were on a drive and save that database to a file and then run it again after installation so that it could list the changes on the drive. This is actually feasible, especially as, unlike Windows etc., the OS won’t be modifying files in the background.

Hmm, aside from MINT or the like, I've always found most GEM/TOS
software to be easily manageable, as far as the files go.

Things mostly tend to be in in a single folder, AUTO folder, or a few
files in the root directory/C drive.

Imagine trying to manually keep up with Windows installations. :)
