I'm watching your RE FALCON 030 thread on AtariAge, but I don't have a Falcon to harvest from.
I have fun restoring & modding my 8bits and 1040STEs, and want to upgrade one of the STE processors at some point.
I hope to get a TT030 one day, to pair with my huge TTM194. But I seriously doubt I'll find even a broken one for a reasonable price.

Then I noticed your posts looking for Atari TT030 and TTM194, and thought hey I know who that is.
My TM194 came from a friend that had lost his TT030 accidently.
In the next few weeks I should know whether it works or not.
Will be trying on a friend's newly acquired TT030, or at an upcoming EXPO that tends to have TT030s.

I'm starting to think these old monitors are harder to find than the TT030 itself.
I hope you've found both by now, and I wanted to say hi!

I'm in the USA, and it's a shame we live so far apart.
Even if I decide to sell or trade the TTM194, it's so big and heavy I'd hate to try shipping it.

Suavek is also in the USA as far as I know. With a big-enough box anything is possible.

Hi. Thanks for reply. Yes, I am in south FL. Shipping isn't a problem at all, I can ship you proper box with padding safe for transport. Where are you located?

Thanks everyone.
It would be fun to drive ~1,000 miles to go visit Sauvek :-)

I would have sent a DM, but I couldn't on AtariAge due to low posting history.
Oh but it looks like I could have on exxos.
I'll reply further with an exxos DM.

Oh, since I started the conversation here...

I'll mention testing this with local vintage computer club.
Was very happy to see it working (i.e. "alive")

How on earth does someone accidentally lose a TT030?!

Ugh. Well...

He was trying to chase it down, whether it was in garage, or gave to brother, or ... lost to time?!?
They drove a long way to visit and he said the TT was no where to be found.
He said "Heh. It's worse for you than me since I was going to give it to you".
Later off to the side, his wife told me she thinks she threw it away when clearing out their storage.
They are both really nice & good friends, so I'm saying he "lost it accidently."
