I have successfully installed the 2021 16mhz Booster and it is running perfectly.

The results I am getting are quite impressive and so I KNOW I am running at 16mhz (Gembench reports integer division at 189% of the reference with overall CPU at 149%)... but for some reason every version of Sysinfo I have tried reports 8mhz..... I THINK I know why, but just wanted confirmation. Is it because the CPU has to switch between 16mhz and 8mhz to talk to the rest of the system and so Sysinfo reports this base clock?

Also, I have all the 9 pin resistor arrays to replace the 10k ones with the recommended 2.2k alternatives.... however the system seems to be running 100% stable as is - should I replace the these or leave well alone?

Yes exactly.

sysinfo will be running from STram which is stock speed. So it will report 8MHz. It doesn't know of the ROM for example running at 16MHz. Its probably only check STram speeds for the calculation. It's why programs like GB6 exist to show GEM functions running faster etc.

You can leave it if you want, you may get lucky in being stable. But many machines are not stable when trying to run the bus at 16MHz during ROM access. It may come back to bite you in the future.

:) I will change them - don't want to invite issues in the future, especially when the system is all zipped back up.
