Hi,
I am an older guy from Sweden, started with hoppy computers in the 1970'ies. Först one was a build from a Swedish magazin of an "Inmsai" copy.
Then it was an TI/994a and some dabbeling in BASIC. A short MSX jump befor C64 and the Commodore line of computers.
A500 at first an early one from Germany..Then A500 plus..A1200 and A4000 D
Still have them and the A4000 was recapped about 10Y ago and is still running..Nowadays with an Cyberstorm 060 full version.
Everyday Amiga is an A1200 with TF1200 at 50Mhz. The A500 Plus I kust bought (not from the old days that one I sold long ago to a friend)
I got an offer for 170 USD to buy a functional good looking A400 Plus with all the risght chips and rev 8A board. No battery leak at all.
So guess if I think I made a good bargain for that one. Sometimes in luck but not to ofthen thou..
Otherwise Married, Lived on the Swedish countryside, Dabbeling a bit with electronics since I am now retired nd have some own time.
In some ways I am "relearning" the Amigas since I been away from the more inner workings of amiga dos and hardware. But I noticed that it comes back quite fast what you once learned years back.
In late 80 and early 90ies I was the Swedish support for Starnet BBS and MEBBS working together with William Bowling and selling MEBBS with support.
I also ran the quite successful Yggdrazil BBS for many years. I also was the last owner of "Nordiska PD Biblioteket" an quite large Amiga Club with a few thousand members at top time. Distributing members disks every 3 months (lot of disk copying).
Well there was more back in the days but I guess this is enough for a presentation.
Feel free to ask anything.. I try to answer.
