WANTED: TOS 1.04 rom, 2 chip version, US English. I am located in the US (Texas) and am trying to replace a German version of TOS 1.02.

Exxos has no more in his store, so you can burn them by yourself or ask somebody to do it for you.

You need an adapter or modification to make it work since there is no chip that you program that is plug'n'play for a 2-chip setup.

My chips are UK when I have them. I've never had a USA board to even salvage USA chips from.
You need DUALTOS board if 70789 type. Or convert to 6 chip tos. Or hack in EPROMS. All info is on my site.

I'd go for 6 chip upgrade, since a 2 chip will require a lot of hacking. 27C256 EPROMS are readily available and easily burned, and it just requires 4 sockets and caps to be installed.

Yes, dual TOSes.
I bought some from you.
I meant regional versions (one language only), like US, DE, UK, etc...

2 chip can't be done as no way to buy blank chips. So you either have to hack eproms like I show on my site, or use dualtos or convert to 6 chip.

And that was what I wanted to say after "My bad" statement:
"Exxos doesn't sell single language TOS 1.04 chips (x2 chips) other than UK version, but sells different single languages TOS 2.06 chips (x2)."
to be precise...
