Minecraft on the Atari??

So I saw an interesting video by Action Retro where he demonstrated Classicube running from floppy disk on some old mac systems. He even tried booting a version compiled for 68k Mac on a 68040 @ 25 Quadra...with limited results.

I grabbed the same compiled version and have spent a bit of time today trying to get it running on my CT63 Falcon running Mac OS 8 via Basilisk.

The below are current results. The texture pack I've tried so far causes insta crashing, so without a texturepack...it runs kindof. I've gotten some movement, but boy is it sloooow. Still...it does boot.

Since Mac's don't use any hardware tricks like DMA etc, I would bet a port to Atari would be feasible.

That's really cool!
I've often wondered if Minecraft on Atari would be possible with its blocky 3d world - basically would a 68030 / 68040 or 68060 cope.
The early Bad Mood versions from the 1990s were filled wire frames which looked similar.
