TOS 2.06 CRC error after burning (Exxos diagnostic cart)

I've burnt TOS 2.06 into two 27C010 EPROMs, put them back into my STe (with the correct EPROM jumper settings) and all appears to work fine.
But if I run the ROM test in the Exxos diagnostic cartridge I get a CRC error.

Is this "normal" or have I made a mistake somewhere along the way?

I can't remember the reason why, but IIRC this is normal.

Strange, but I think you're right according to this posting, though I'm not getting any errors while booting.
Prior to burning the two EPROMs I used Ppera's ROMsplit program to split the single TOS file into two parts (high and low). I'm almost sure I clicked on its "Fix CRC for TOS 2.06" button, so either I didn't or I'm getting error messages in the diagnostic software regardless.

Does the diagnostic cart know about TOS2.06? If not, then you'd probably expect this.

Good point! I should pop my original TOS 1.62 ROMs back in (and adjust the 3 ROM-jumpers accordingly) to check, but that could probably explain the errors I'm getting.
I suppose if I had really done something incorrectly during the splitting and burning of the new TOS image files into the EPROMs I wouldn't be able to boot and/or I'd get some error messages while booting (like the poster in that other thread I referred to did).
