Hi, as i explained on the V4 patch install thread, I killed my CT60e while measuring it with a scope on the clock patch pin.

While measuring the clock signal on the CT60e bus with an oscilloscope, trigging the auto-calibration button on the oscilloscope shutted down my Falcon. The tip of the probe was on pin 12 from the left lower row (it’s the clock signal) and ground on the chassis.

Since this happened, my CT60e don’t react anymore when I power it on. The fan doesn’t even begin to spin. I measured the power pin and saw that there is no direct connection between this pin and the 5V green wire on the ATX plug. I assume that some chips are involved in between. Is there any schematic available to troobleshoot this issue? Did anyone already got the case?

As a friend of mine has a CT60e too, I could do some cross testing and could determine that the problem is my CT60e (it’s not the CPU, not the power supply, not the ram, and not the fan, they all work on my friend’s CT60e)

Note: the power supply don’t even try to start, is’t like the triggering of the power on pin isn’t connected anymore with the ATX plug

Do you still have the 3 clock outputs from the V4 ?

I don't know what auto calibration does in relation to the probe, but I would take a guess that it might have blown one of the buffer chips on the V4 if your machine no longer starts.

no, the Falcon itself still start if I put the stock power supply. And it even start with the CT60e of my friend. I tried my Power supply, my ram, my fan and even my CPU, only changed my CT60e for his one, and it works. The problem is saddly on the CT60e.
