Hello from down under

Hello all, I new to posting to the forum.. but certainly not new to the Atari.

I'm from New Zealand, currently in Taranaki region but spend most of my life in Wellington Region.

I have been an Atarian since the age of 13 when I got my first Atari a 400 for Christmas of 1981 and upgrading from my Dream6800.

Being from NZ, and before the days of being able to go online and meet 1000's of like minded people. Knowing anyone else with a computer let alone an Atari was pretty rare. But eventually I found a local computer club and then a local Atari Club. Which after many years became the president of.

So grew up with the Atari 8 bit computers, unfortunately selling them along the way to get the next best thing etc. And finally ending with a Falcon030 and a Jaguar. The Jag was the only thing I retained from those days, everything else was sold to get the next computer etc.

Not sure when it happened but at some point probably early 2000's I started collecting Ataris again and now just recently got a Falcon again :-)

Anyway loving this Forum, so after registering in order to buy some parts for my Falcon, have decided to start posting on here.

Welcome!

As you have probably found out, you should have started with the Falcon in the 2000s, you'd buy it for maybe 100 USD/EUR. ;-)

G'day, similar story here. 800XL in 1984 and Bay of Plenty/Waikato for me though and wound up in Melbourne.
