Retro/Amiga show 25th May Exeter

Hi all,

The South West Amiga Group (SWAG) are holding another meet. This time in the South West  - Clyst St. Mary to the north of Exeter.

This is a smaller meet to test the water as previously meets were north of Bristol and too far for Cornwall members. So there will be drinks and snacks provided for the ticket (£10) but you need to bring or buy your own lunch (shops nearby).

Although primarily an Amiga meet I like to bring along other stuff as we all have and seen A500s and A1200  and it's nice to see something else.

Not sure if this location and date will suit anyone here?

Update more details:
The venue for this latest SWAG event is the Clyst St Mary Village Hall, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1AA. The Hall is just a short drive off from junction 30 of the M5 and has masses of on-site parking.

At this initial Exeter meet we won't be providing a buffet lunch as we want to see what sort of take-up we get from Amiga users. We will be providing drinks and snacks, however. We have been informed that
there is a local convenience store with a hot food counter, but you may want to consider bringing your own lunch on this occasion.

Times - not confirmed. But I think it is 10am - 5pm. I will update when known.

EDIT: Tickets now on sale £10 - https://www.southwestamiga.org.uk/

The show was good. First one in South South West, so many new faces attending. It was good to meet @Icky and we had a good chat. I was speaking to someone else and they also had a ZX81 then had a QL, I mentioned you but I think you had gone by then.

It was good showing the Sam Coupe, Vectrex and X68000. Most people had not seen these systems in the flesh.

Also got to see a TF4060, the owner had only got it the day before and was trying to test it with a modern SCSI card. Their 4000 had over 800mb of Fast Ram via a number of expansion cards!

My systems behaved themselves and most were on for nearly a solid 6 hrs.
