Hi I would like to log ac voltage at around 0 to 500mv for up to twenty minutes and have it on a small display screen with max an min values. Would one of the many budget oscilloscope multimeters available achieve that for me please ?
I don't need a permanent record just that screen to read

I just want voltage not interested in the waveform

I have an Owon SDS1022 which I paid about £140 new, but that was a few years back, I think the price has jumped a bit to nearly £190, though you may be able to get one cheaper.

It's basic and only 2CH but covers the majority of my needs. It does have a measurement function and can measure many parameters including max and min values.

I use it quite a lot for that and also frequency measurements.

Of course your mileage may vary on how useful you find it and if it indeed does what you need. It has USB and if it does have a logging option, it may be via that and the included software for PC.

Thanks Jonnie I need to see the curve as it plots over twenty minutes or so , will it do that for me?

It's not something I can say it does. Whilst I regularly use the min/max function, I don't know about the recording over time.

Will one of these do the jo for me please?

When you post links, they need to be ideally enclosed with a 'link' (The chain icon in the editing tools) if they are long, otherwise the link is likely to break as yours did.

I have fixed it, but with regards to wether it'll do it would be difficult to call because you'd need to read through the functions to see what it's capable of.

It's probably unlikely you'll find anyone on here with the exact same item who can say yes or no as to wether it'll meet your needs.
