Some new hardware idea's: PSU Bracket, Serial port GPIO breakout

Hello Atari list!
So i have a couple idea's I'd like some input on for some simple quality of life improvements for my STF:
Metal bracket to match Meanwell PSUs: I've been using these are cheap replacements for this an that for years and see that they found their way into STs as well but they dont fit super great so I'm thinking aboud solidworksing up a new bracket that matches the ST PCB but has accommodations for the meanwell (mount holes/whatever else). Laser cutting and CNC bending stuff is dirt cheap and its something I can draw up fairly quickly.
Leverage the Serial port connector: Im not crazy about drilling holes into the case for mods and I noticed that 25pin D modem connector has a number of unused pins. What I was thinking is just to wire whatever you need on the inside of the case to those pins and stick a female Dsub on the outside with a breakout. I want to power my ACSI2STM drive off ST power and it was right next to it..
