Could TF4060 be designed with footprint for a ZIF socket?

I've come into seven ZIF sockets for 68040 (and I assume they'd work for 68060?). Before I start desoldering these from the VME boards they came on, I'm wondering if they'd even be useful.
I don't think the BFG9060, for example, has enough room in the layout around the socket to take a ZIF socket.
Wondering if the TF4060 could be designed for such a socket (as optional vs. a normal socket), by leaving enough space around the layout?
Then I could eventually get a TF4060 and have an easy solution for swapping in and bench-testing various 68060 CPUs without having to pry them out all the time with a PGA shovel thingie :p
Cheers!
Brian.
