Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has seen/followed this project, but it uses a Raspberry Pico and additional PCB to convert 15kHz RGB to HDMI.

It has been tested with a number of older systems:

Thanks for sharing, I did know that the pico was able to generate dvi through HDMI.

Looks like a great solution with a lot of potential.

Unfortunately the analogue front ends it lists (WM8213) appears to be EOL and out of stock everywhere. The author also includes references for the WM8199 but it is similarly hard to obtain and software support hasn't been implemented yet by the looks of things. WM8214 does seem to be readily available on the pull/grey market but It's a bit of a punt as always.

*edit* I see the legitimate WM8214SCDS is a bit more obtainable than I initially thought.

*edit 2* Perhaps one for our antipodean forum regulars to try out. This seller is practically giving the AFEs away! ;)

I had considered building one or two of these, but between my Retrotink and OSSC, I have nothing I can't connect to a display in my collection, so I gave up on the idea.

It's a great idea though, and I do have a spare Pico, so something for the future perhaps.
