New (old!) user from Australia

Hi there and thanks for letting me in.
I started out with micro's in 1970 acquiring a 32K Commodore PET and that was when the bug bit - hard!
That PET helped me realise that one didn't necessarily need to be artistic to be creative - BASIC was such an eye opener for me it was absolutely wonderful to be able imagine a problem and the develop a few (hah!) lines of Basic code to solve it. I went on through TI 99/4A, Oric, CPC464/CPC6128 before slipping into the IBM compatible quagmire.
Now, at the age of 75 I've just bought an Atari 520STFM so that I can attempt to recreate those happy times - wish me luck!

Welcome to the friendly forum. There are a few Aussies here, so one more is always welcomed. Whereabouts in the AU continent are you located? There are a few of us in QLD and VIC. Shout out if you need any help. :D
