Would there be any interest in a MC68881/MC68882 on an E-board?

If so - are there any restrictions on size/shape of board? I am thinking to use H5 C1 Port #4 and having the 68 pin PLCC over to the right below the MFP.

This project is really for me to design/order my 1st PCB. I have the PLCC and FPU now. Just some addressing logic to get something akin to the SFP004 that went in the Mega 1. I appreciate not much software would make use of it.

The general idea is that all the E-boards fit in a 68K footprint. Of course there is a little room outside of this area but should really be all kept as compact as possible as do not interfere with any other expansions which also use the 68K style sized footprint.

I don't think the FPU could fit inside the 68K footprint though ? So like you say, overhanging on port 4 seems the only real option I think..

Port 1 & 3 May ultimately be used for the SEC booster. The 3.3V ports are for Truie and Flashy clock. So at this point in time there is technically nothing to use port 4 anyway.
