1.44 FLOPPY PCB v7.1

Hi,
I'm modding my STe with the "1.44 FLOPPY UPGRADE PCB V7.1" and I'm a bit confused with assembly documents for every versions except v7.1.
My pcb :

So I guess there is no more SIL array to solder as I can see smd 1k arrays in the middle of the pcb ?
A : D0 for floppy drive A. The pad should stay unsoldered and a wire goes to the floppy drive but where exactly on a Sony MPF920 ?
B : D1 for floppy drive B. Without any drive, pad should be bridged.
C : MCF, this Media Change Fix pad should stay unsoldered with Dual Tos (2.06)
D : P1 wired to W301 pad 1 (right square one)
E : P2 wired to W301 pad 2 (middle round one)
Third and last question, is there any precaution to follow if this pcb is used with your "FLOPPY CABLE FLIP KIT [0208]"

Correct.

Correct.

Solder it.
I only kept it as "breakable" if someone had issues. But I never had any reports of issues with it enabled.
D : P1 wired to W301 pad 1 (right square one)
E : P2 wired to W301 pad 2 (middle round one)

None that I am aware of no.

Might be worth cutting the trace between the drive select pins on the floppy flip kit if you haven't already put it together.
Otherwise the drive will respond to both A: and B: requests.

I think STF is fine. Only 1 drive select on the internal.

Looking at the STe, looks like Atari wired both A&B to the internal connector :roll:

Just cut pin12 on the floppy drive connector and have done with it.

OK for pin12.
Looking for the HD selec pad inside MPF920, I've just noticed that you may have forgotten to correct D0 SEL on this one :

It shouldn't matter if you're using the floppy flip, d0 and d1 have a trace between them on the drive connector side of the pcb as well.

I am also installing your HD FLOPPY MOD 7.1
The Sony MFP920-E I ordered from Exxos Store is a bit different than the photo.
Where to connect D0 on the drive ?
I will use a gotek as external drive, should I modify anything ?
