Aberdeen Scotland Amiga, part time Atari user!

Hi

I am Barry from Aberdeen Scotland, with a fondness of Amigas, sorry Atari (had a 520STE but never gelled), Having down sized my collection from the loft my plan is to build my perfect Amiga. (A4000)

In the mean time I currently have set up my A1200 and A1500 (details below) which I use for games, D paint and rendering. Grown up with a A500 then quickly got a A1200 which I ran as my main computer and online until 2008 when it got moved to the lost. Hunter and The Settlers are my favourite games as I don't have the hand eye co-ordination for any shoot-em ups, although I remember Alien Breed 3D blowing my mind on my uncles 060 machine!

A1200 running a TF1260 in the desk top case with some holes cut in the back for my external IDE CD rom drive, Scan doubler.

A1500 (A2000 badged in the UK as A1500 to show it has two disk drives) with a TF536 in the co-processor slot, RAMESSES II 2MB chip ram upgrade, Super-Denis in PLC adapter, Rom switcher (1.3-3.1) DF0/1 switcher and Gotek.

Registered on here because sadly my TF536 is playing up!

Regards

Barry

Welcome Barry! :D

Like another Scotsman around here has pointed out before, this is a 'retro user/hardware guru' forum; We have a general spread of all machine formats here (but there are also quite a few of us with Ataris and associated projects!)

Thanks all, no just need to post in the hardware forum to ask why my TF536 is playing up!

Thanks again
