Hi all...long time no see....Well my trusty TF56 was sold on to fund a TF1230 for my new A1200(swapped my ZZ9k for it)

My A1200 Rev 1A.....was Standard with floppy and KS3.0

Since then I upgraded to 3.2 and the TF1230.....and Geotec......the ehide.device is in the Rom....(retro passion)

So...anyway I only seem to See 16mb ram in WB...Sysinfo V4 etc.....Am I missing something....? the card is a 128mb fast ram version.

Best to ask your builder for support in the first instance. i.e. me :)

:D ah yeh....might help lol Been a while since I've had an issue with hardware....tbh its Still fun to use :D

Update:

After sending back my card to the Builder, it turns out that a pin on the edge connector was bent....I was one of the Address lines...hence only 16mb fast ram showed up.....more than likely my fault while installing the card at an Angle......Any tips on installing cards as there's little wiggle room.

This card has now been fully refunded.

@Mark Sealey has your Edge Connector got a bevel/chamfer on it?

I think it was on both my 1B PCBs it was missing. So needed to get the file out!

That is the first tip, the other one is to slacken off the screw near the PCB edge connector. The newer female edge connectors on the cards seem a little thicker than the 90's ones.

Thanks for the Reply....yes my mobo has no bevel/Chamfer......I can "borrow" a nail file from the partner to take the edge off it.. :D and I did loosen the screws when I installed the card...also removed a bit of the case plastic near the edge connector. as room is tight.......

Also as Go0se said he`s refunded me even after asking if I wanted a "refund or replacement" Due to not wanting any Further hassle and returns or
expense Having to give any further support even after me saying I can PayPal any extra money to cover it........and seemed to question my ability to fit cards correctly..... :lol: Funny tho as I got a refund not long after posting here yesterday evening.

So Sordan.ie can have my money instead.

Well my TF1230 came from Sordan IE.....fitted fine and works great.... a lovely speed up...nice to boot from the ide....Thank you, Steven !!

It seems that i spoke too early.....Although I have only the random crash And have been playing games and Demo`s for a few weeks.....AmikaTestkit shows not all is Good.

Dont rely on test kit to test the memory as it conflicts with the memory table, try Amiga Analyser that has a Memory tester and that should work, I put link below
