I'm just trying to gauge interests for a possible future run. Either "birdseed" boards as sold before. Or fully assembled.

Can't make promises either way as part shortages may limit activity in both cases. But before I go looking for parts, is there any interest in either still ?

Yes, I would be interested in a fully assembled one. If you won't implement fully assembled, then I'll settle for bird seed 8-)

I may be interested in one of these for 'research purposes'...

I would need to get some poor soul to service the Mega ST and make sure its up to the task first though, as I think its starting to get poorly these days.

Oh, and I would need the fully assembled board.

Any semblance of a ballpark figure on pricing?

Can't really say currently. The Amiga guys were charging £200 and that was before parts shortages. I'm trying to guage if its worth the time in finding stuff and the outlay currently.

Fully assembled I would interested.

I’ve got three to build myself and as @exxos says they won’t be anywhere near as cheap as before because there is no stock of the CPLD in the usual suppliers.

I'd also be interested in an assembled unit, but it wouldn't be a problem to build a bird seeded one...
I'm very slowly stepping up my 1040STF game here and a little bit of terrible fire without smoke would be a treat sometime in the future :)

What I will do is order some bird seed boards of the rev5 as I can get them done quick. Price will be a little higher at about £29 , shortages are causing problems again. I will probably have these in a couple of weeks as already have a JLC order on the go.

It will take a lot longer to get fully assembled boards sorted out. Will be a different PCB company and I will likely have to find some parts and send them to be assembled. I may take preorders for these in a few weeks time. But I think it will be some months to sort it all out. It will probably be more towards the end of the year before these would appear. Assuming I can find all the parts for them.

I actually have multiple PCB jobs simultaneously going on all at the same time. So I need to get those sorted out first anyway.
