I bagged this over the weekend, another machine that was about when I was younger, though I never actually owned one.


Not a bad catch at just under £50:


Apparently it has some display issues, but you know me, I love a challenge :)

There is so much hardware now , that the mass of it all will start to generate its own gravity, eventually leading to a black hole where your whole house will disappear ! Either that or the Mrs will end you, either way, you're out of existence ! :lol:

Yeah, I'm going to stop posting on the forum now too, to give @rubber_jonnie more room for all his stuff.

I'm guessing another year and all of Googles search results will be his retro gear.

She is ok with it, however your theory about the black hole may be true!

Quickly pulled apart to look at video issues and the video out socket was a bit ropey, so I did a quick reflow. Of note is that somebody has been here before and done a recap.


And all up and running with a very nice composite image.


Seems Commodore actually decided composite out would be a good thing, and they were right. This is via my Retrotink to HDMI.
