Upgraded php 5.5.9 to 5.6.33 just... hopefully nothing broke....

( and no I can't update to php7 as AMN runs on the same server as the site breaks out big time :( Also my floppyshop page also breaks, presumably due to depreciated functions)

forum software is updating shortly...

Note to self - never update PHP again.. ever..
all my php extensions had vanished and it rained all hell on everything...

test

My server hosting company will be rebooting their servers because of patching relating to Meltdown and Spectre chip bugs.

So if my website/forum or anything on "exxoshost" dies.. its is only temporary as the host is applying fixes and has to reboot the servers..

It just happened in fact, downtime about 5 mins..... Several more patches/reboots are planned.

Sorry for the crapouts tonight (error 500) I was updating the extensions (spam related etc) but something crapped out the entire forum

will update one thing at a time later this week, then easier to know which thing fails then...

Thanks for flying exxos airways

I am going to be working on the server adding more security stuff etc, so likely the forum may drop out or die randomly during these updates.

This is still ongoing, formatting on the forum is going nuts at the moment, sorry!

I'm trying to add a firewall but its just breaking everything so far

Does anyone know any sites which will load a webpage (like the forum) and list all the external website it accesses ?

As when I only allow stuff to be loaded from my own server, the forum formatting goes nuts
