I stumbled across this site yesterday where Alexandru Groza has been building his own ISA ET4000 2MB graphics card including BIOS.

Thought it apt with the ET4000 being used in Nova and Vofa add-ons. Its actually a good read of the efforts involved in developing and as developer stumbling across having to bodge wires and building solution boards to fix etc. :coffee:

Nova driver for ET4000/W32i has only support for 1MB memory and Nova VME only. STGA or VOFA do not work with W32i.

... there are 1MB W32i that can be updatet to 2MB. I don't know if you can still buy there?

Interesting @frank.lukas that a company is still advertising selling these cards. As you say don't know if they are still active though.

I forgot ...

... the W32i project has only a 80Mhz RamDAC. For 2MB resolutions you need by 1280x1024-60Hz /256 Colors a 110Mhz RamDAC and by 1024x768-60Hz /64k Colors also a 110Mhz RamDAC

They are active, but when I asked for their cards 4-5 months ago, I had a quick answer saying they have no more stock left.
