Hi All,

I'm looking for a case top that will fit an Atari 1040STE. The plastic on mine is very brittle and has snapped in various locations where the plastic is thinnest. The weakest parts mainly.

Either an actual 1040STE case will do or maybe an STFM one if it will fit.

Any case top from an STF/M/E will fit, it's only the lower case that differs on the STE.

Saw this one but looks like the floppy drive side has been modified at some point. Maybe worth it though considering I've got a gotek in there now instead of floppy drive.

Yeah it looks a bit hacked.. but IMO with a bit of a sand/file it'll look good. And the price isn't too bad. Although I do have a pet peeve with ppl selling stuff that's dirty, especially since we're in a pandemic.. doesn't take long to wipe some plastic down for pete's sake.
