Hey,
Just started to clean up my ste , and I’m curious about the mod you can see on the motherboard.
Anyone?

Thanks, so in layman’s terms this is just a factory signal clean up of some sort? What exactly does it do?
If you don’t ask questions you won’t learn anything

Not sure exactly what it does...but my STE with external blitter has it while my two with an internal blitter don't.
Might be coincidence, but I doubt it.
Would be great to know what it fixes... especially if it would affect what upgrades could be fitted!

It's this part of the schematic:

Prolongs the DMA sound interrupt signal.
