exxos's Atari, Amiga & retro forum

Exxos has kindly sent me a blank diagnostic cart PCB :thanksblue: for one of his older revisions (rev 9 rather than the current 9A) & I'm hoping to build it up with my own selection of programs/utilities on an EPROM.

One of the first tasks will be to order the missing components to assemble the board...main items being the two caps plus the IC (I've already got the socket & headers/jumpers in hand).

I've not yet managed to work out which items these are, so any pointers on values/ratings etc/ would be most welcome.

I've also not yet finalised which programs will end up going on to this (I suspect I will want far more than will fit on just one EPROM :lol: :roll:)

I will update this post as & when I make progress with this...it's not very high up the priority list at the moment ;)

I think they were 6.3V 220uF & 10uF ceramic I think... I don't have part numbers for them anymore sorry. But should be easy to find something to fit.

IC in is SN74HC86PWR.. but not saying its right package so you need to check,,,

Thanks @exxos - I will go for that voltage rating or slightly higher...should be easy to find something suitable on Farnell (and they're probably not particularly critical values either...?)

We should have various 14 pin SMT packages at works...so I can check the package type & then order an HC86 to suit.

Had a look at some of our designs and it looks like a TSOP package...so I will dig out the data sheet & check that matches the measurements for the footprint.

There are plenty of options on Farnell, so that's something!
