Heyas,

I got an STFM with 16x of these RAM chips in: MT1259-10. Datasheet: https://www.datasheets360.com/pdf/-5651767077500557442

Everywhere I look they say 1x is 256k, but how can that be true since the STFM is 512k but has 16x of these chips? I don't understand.

Datasheet says: 256k x 1 bit. Hence, 256kibits (per chip) * 16 chips = 512 kiBytes.
