Picture Viewing.

I've always had the idea of viewing photos I have on the Atari. I learned to convert images for use with Deskpic in monochrome mode, but using this was causing issues deep inside Notator.

I was wondering about using a program which I can load when I want to use it, instead of it loading at start up.

I noticed that True Paint supports jpeg files. There are probably other packages too.

What program would you guys suggest for view pictures I have taken elsewhere to be viewed on the Atari? Would True Paint be a good choice?

Cool it works! Are there any others you would recommend trying out?

Vision. Much more than just a picture viewer, but cool nonetheless. And still in active(!) development; in fact, iirc version 4.8 just came out about a week ago. According to the web site, it runs on every Atari with at least 1 MB of RAM: http://jlusetti.free.fr/visione.htm
