I thought it worthwhile mentioning a couple of nice resources I've come across lately.

I managed to find components there I was struggling to get, and also some very nice 60/40 lead solder, .7mm diameter. It flows really well, and melts quickly, much better than the 63/37 1mm stuff I have been using that feels more like lead free!

Delivery was really fast too, so well worth checking out.

I know they've been about for some time, but they have some good products over there, such as a good assortment of keyboard membranes (one needed for my A1200 and ZX81) and some nice upgrades for a wide variety of retro kit.

If like me you have been stuck knowing what to do with a machine, in my case, my ZX81, you might find they have what you need.

Having had a Sinclair QL long before I got my first ST, RWAP is well known to me. I'd trust his membranes above anyone else's. He also runs the "Sell My Retro" portal, used as a shop front by a lot of individuals selling small quantities of retro and retro compatible kit. https://www.sellmyretro.com/. Not much for the ST at the moment in the hardware area.

Cricklewood Electronics though is a very good find. I think I saw something about them on the Stardot forums as they have a stock of chips used in the BBC Micro which are extremely hard to come by as they stopped being made in the early 80s and they were already obsolete when the Beebs were in production.
