RAM JUMPERS ADDED

Something which I mentioned in the past also, our jumper links on the SIMM on MAD8&9.

MAD9 will enable / disable 4MB leaving 1MB max.
MAD8 will enable / disable 1MB leaving 256K max.

This was more to allow quick and simple way to force a lower RAM machine for when I write apps etc. it may also be useful for some games which will not work with a 4MB system.

Ultimately I think this can be controlled via a flashyclock register.

Remark: If you disconnect MAD8 (as well as MAD9, of course), you end up with 256k (not 512k) of RAM. A nice way of emulating an original 260ST prototype :D.

Oops :) Yep. Maybe I should jumper RAS1 to disable a bank as well. Was really aiming for 512K.

EDIT:
Fixed original post.
