Hi folks. I need some help resolving an issue...

Setup: A2000/cpu relocator/TF534:

Boot time is long (sometimes as long as 5 mins) booting from an SD card.
This issue presents itself with both kick/wb 3.1 & 3.1.4.

Ideas/suggestions welcomed,

Sounds like the interrupt man in the middle isnt working.

I'd try it in the CPU socket to start with.

I'd try a CF card if you have one.

Finally i'd try the INT2 patch wire if all else fails.

Can you please elaborate more on 'Int2 patch wire' so that I understand what I need to do here.

The other possibility i have found is that corrupt hard disks can cause long boot times but see what sysinfo tells you about disk access.

This is what I am getting when I boot the machine .. ( I am the current owner of ProfPlums TF534)
This is the machine I have it in.
Board with IDE to SD - Kingston 8gb card - New formatted etc.. and new install of 3.1.4

Seems You are using 3.1.4, you need to install MMULibs - grab these from Aminet

ok, I have some pics and some information. I found I have a rev. 4.2 board. I see in another thread that ver 4.x need mods.. so I will need to find those.

In the pics. I have found the libraries, and installed them. Speed of machine and speed of drive shown.

Any help appreciated. I cannot install the TF direct in the slot because I have capacitor in the way. ALso the RTC, but that could be out for testing. I have not wired up the init2 line yet.

ps as a side question, why when I formated did it setup the 2nd partition as a floppy icon?

that shouldn't be a problem - use pin stripes for 68k socket to rise your TF card higher, U really need to start from there, using any accelerator card in cpu slot may be a challengeon rev.4.x board..
Highly likely your issue is caused by CF Card, CF Adapter, ir long ide cable, have reported about same behavior numerous of times, was able to solve it with SD2ide..
