Alt-/Fast-/TT-RAM expansion for 1040STE

Does anyone know of a current design or finished product for a Alt-/Fast-/TT-RAM expansion for 1040STE? Something like the Magnum but with currently available parts? ;)

I think there is monster for the STE ? Though it is not compatible with my booster :(

Once the V2.5 booster is finished, I will be working on fast RAM for it, and it could be ported to the STE, but I am not sure about height restrictions after the booster is fitted as that fast strong card would have to be another add-on card.

I did design one for the STFM about a year ago, but as with everything else I just cannot work on everything at once, and some things just have to wait :)

Would more layers in the PCB help but then that adds a cost problem and design issues.

Is just physical restraints as always, there would have to be the board to plug on top of the CPU which will make it higher. I think the booster PCB already hits the underside of the metal shield, it could be removed but I am not sure about space restrictions anywhere else.

This was the design I was planning for the STFM, which was designed as a plug-in expansion upgrade. Again not sure about physical restraints, it probably won't fit. Also this could be used as a plug-in option for future STE boosters.

Likely this will have to be actually integrated into the future V2 booster PCB itself.

So the logic to drive this would be located on the accelerator? Since I only see RAMs in there...

Apparently so, oddly 14 hours a day working on Atari stuff isn't enough for some people, plus I actually have a day job as well :roll:

Actually, working on new hardware I have very little time for these days, as the majority of my time is keeping stock up on my store, which I am failing miserably at mostly :(
