Cartridge Port connector

I have been trying to get the connectors of scrap boards, and its near-on impossible  Because these are a odd size 40pin 2mm , I have been unable to find any source for them (other than best) :(
I wonder if anyone has ever seen any proper part number for them anywhere ? I can only find the Atari part number, which doesn't help, but I assume companies like foxconn made them ?

The closest I found is the
MEC2-20-01-L-TH1-NP from Samtech but unfortunately this is a vertical connector so it will need some hacking (and I don't know if the dimensions are correct).
They also have a right-angled 1mm-pitch connector (something like MEC1-140-02-L-D-RA1-NP), but I don't know if it could work by removing 1 contact out of 2 :D ), and it is SMD.
Maybe it is woth contacting them for an hypothetical "MEC2-20-01-L-TH1-RA1-NP"?

Got a reply from them...
Chris -We offer .5, .6, .8, and 1mm but we’ve never tooled the 2mm right angle. This would be an extensive undertaking with new contacts, new housing, assembly tooling and testing. Unless the quantities are in the 10’s of thousands we would not consider tooing this.

Might be easier to tool a converter from vertical to angle?

Yeah, I am trying to get samples and prices of connectors which may work. Though like always, dealing with companies is a uphill battle.
